Week 3 Radio





6/2 Finish Hi-poly
6/3-6/4 Low Poly/UV
6/9 Texture/Render

Almost done with my sculpt stage and I have been working back and forth to cleanup my low poly which I will be completing in the next 2 days.
This week will forever remind me to not hoard boolean meshes once you've used them and just save it as an older version. I ran into a lot of memory/poly count issues and thankfully I have 3 computers that I was able to rescue my project from constantly crashing.

I learned a lot about working from reference as well as stylization this week as well. I definitely tried way too hard to get this to have all the parts in the right place of a singular model rather than just taking inspiration from each and just using what is more aesthetically pleasing which resulted in me changing my design later on rather than planning it all at first.On top of this I gained more of an understanding of what things do better in ZBrush or Maya for smoothing.

Anyways, I'm excited to get into the texture phase of this!

Planning on adding a few decals to the radio to give more of a story to it.
